Q: Does the iStik work with all iPods?

A: Cases for both the 2nd generation and 3rd generation nano are available. Cases for the iPhone and iPod touch will be coming soon.

Q: Will the magnets damage the iPod?

A: No. The iPod nano does not have a hard drive. It is a solid state, flash drive based device and contains no moving parts for the magnets to affect.
We have had extensive testing performed by an electrical engineer who specializes in magnets to confirm the safety.

Q: Is it strong enough to wear while running?

A: Definitely. The attraction between the Neodymium magnets is extremely strong. We do recommend wearing thinner clothing when using the iStik.
The less of a barrier between the magnets, the stronger the bond will be.

Q: My iPod screen has gone black and won't turn on. Did the magnets damage my iPod?

A: No. The magnets will not damage your iPod nano in anyway. From time to time the iPod freezes up and just needs to be restarted.
Remove your iPod from your iStik. Make sure hold button is off. Hold down the Menu button and center Select button until Apple logo appears.
Put iPod back in the iStik case and you are good to go. If Apple logo does not appear, your battery is drained and the iPod needs to recharge.

Q: Help, I lost my iStik fastener! Can I purchase just this piece without buying a whole new case?
